New ICECAT Seventytwo  Bellissimo!

Ice Yachts raises the bar after the success of the award-winning ICECAT 67 with the development of a 72-foot super hi-tech catamaran created in collaboration with the design firm of the eclectic architect Lucio Micheletti.

The Ice Yachts shipyard is already well established for being the manufacturer of the largest sailing catamarans built in Italy. The ICECAT Seventytwo, like the rest of the Ice Yachts multihull fleet, will be made entirely at the futuristic Ice Yachts Cremonese shipyard, featuring expert craftsman dedicated to building beautiful catamarans.

The ICECAT seventytwo represents a great step forward in multihull design with inspiration taken from the automotive world with emphasis on jaw dropping beauty coupled with outstanding performance.  The design brief was to obtain a speed under sail of 30 knots.

The main deck oozes minimalist simplicity with ultra clean lines, smooth surfaces and elegant carbon appendages. The technological advancement is like no other with state-of-the-art electronics and controls barely noticeable.  The salon offers a relaxed seating and formal dining area, indeed the ICECAT seventytwo is available with a choice of three dinette versions to ensure all tastes are catered for.  The sleek wrap-around windshield provides abundant light and full 360-degree views.  The cockpit is at the same level of the salon to create a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces all with maximum luxury and comfort in mind.

Spending time aboard the ICECAT seventytwo is truly a unique experience allowing for both intimacy and privacy.  All the lower deck areas are accessed by private stairwells, elevating the feeling of space and seclusion. The crew quarters connect to the galley to create a separate operational area in the port hull along with VIP guest cabin with private head further forward.  The master owners’ cabin with large walk-in robe and spacious head occupies most of the starboard hull along with guest cabin with bunk beds and separate head forward.

In short, the new ICECAT seventytwo is a piece of art that takes quality and design to new summit that others can only dream of reaching.
